Multimedia Video Production created four 360-degree interactive videos for Sandmeyer Steel in 2016, which focus on a variety of the company’s steel processing capabilities. A 360-degree camera was used at different stations to film what processes are needed to produce steel plate products for a global market. Using the 360-degree video technology gives viewers an entirely new perspective on processes that are not often seen by Sandmeyer’s customers. Viewers can maneuver through the 360-degree video by either scrolling on a desktop, or swiping or moving their smartphone or tablet, giving them the power to move around as they wish in all directions. The videos are integrated into Sandmeyer’s website, making them stand out by providing their potential and existing customers a state-of-the-art view into their world.
